A big club collected used for precision shots to the green. In a number of irons with lofts closed corner of the difference would be as a club shorter than a pitching wedge and a club more than just a sand wedge.

Some manufacturers refer to this club like a wedge of the attack or a seating area dual approach. You will be notified with a "G", "A" or "see D".

G stands for corner gap. Other manufacturers in May this label A. Not sure what that means, but the same purpose, to go to a club to move between the pitching wedge and sand wedge.

Usually regular pitching wedge loft is 47 degrees of loft. And sand wedge has 56 degrees loft. This represents a difference of 9 degrees between PW and SW. To fill in the GW or the VA has been set at 51 or 52 degrees.

If your device does not come with GW, then you can buy separately. Golfers often have many wedges in his bag. I carry four wedges: PW, GW, SW and LW.

It is called the corner of Gap. They are called this name because they are used to bridge the gap distance between a pitching wedge (PW) and sand wedge (SW) to. The loft is located between 50-52 degrees.

It is very useful if you do not feel good hit sand wedge shot for a short distance (less than 80 meters?).
